El acoso sexual en el lugar de trabajo incluye declaraciones, actos y conductas de naturaleza sexual, as\u00ed como avances no deseados o sugestivos, ya sea de manera f\u00edsica, verbal o escrita. Esto abarca comportamientos como burlas, intimidaci\u00f3n, chistes u observaciones ofensivas, acoso, solicitudes de favores sexuales, tocamientos o gestos inapropiados, y otras conductas de naturaleza sexual. Los perpetradores pueden ser hombres o mujeres e incluir supervisores, compa\u00f1eros de trabajo, subordinados o incluso clientes y consumidores.<\/p><p>Existen dos formas de acoso sexual: &#8220;quid pro quo&#8221; y ambiente laboral hostil. El acoso sexual &#8220;quid pro quo&#8221; ocurre cuando un empleador condiciona actos o favores sexuales a la obtenci\u00f3n de empleo u otros beneficios en el lugar de trabajo. Este tipo de acoso es ilegal, ya sea que el empleado acepte o rechace las demandas. Por otro lado, el acoso en un ambiente laboral hostil implica comportamientos tan severos y generalizados que impiden que un empleado desempe\u00f1e su trabajo de manera efectiva. Para considerarse ilegal, este tipo de acoso debe ser m\u00e1s que ocasional, aislado o trivial.
